The End of Infinity
The End of Infinity
The first hit was a ripple—a vibration spreading through my body and mind. The second hit broke the illusion of the room around me. By the third, I felt myself dissolve entirely, my sense of self slipping through the cracks of reality. I exhaled, and in that moment, I wasn’t leaving my body; I was unfolding into something infinitely vast.
I began to traverse a tunnel—not a physical one but something alive, built from fractals of light and geometry. It was like moving through the veins of a cosmic organism, the walls pulsating with color and sound. The patterns were impossibly intricate, their movements synchronized to a rhythm that wasn’t just heard—it was felt. Each pulse seemed to ask me, Are you ready?
I emerged from the tunnel into a vast, multidimensional expanse. Imagine standing in a cathedral that stretches forever in every direction, but this was not limited by three-dimensional space. It was an infinite layering of realms, each dimension folding and intersecting with others in ways that defied logic. Planes of existence overlapped and intertwined, each glowing with a distinct energy.
Some dimensions shimmered like liquid gold, their surfaces rippling with waves of creation. Others were sharp, angular, and crystalline, refracting light into impossibly complex rainbows. There were layers that hummed with deep, resonant tones, while others buzzed with high-frequency whispers. Each layer was alive, a conscious part of a greater whole.
I became aware that I wasn’t simply observing these dimensions; I was within them, moving through them simultaneously. My presence seemed to shift between layers, my consciousness flowing like water through cracks in the multiverse. Time, as I understood it, ceased to exist. Each moment felt eternal, and yet I moved forward, guided by an unseen force.
Ahead of me, the expanse began to condense, as though all the layers were converging into a single focal point. It was here that I saw Him.
God.
Not as a figure draped in robes or light but as an entity of pure presence. He was both infinite and singular, a being that contained everything and nothing at once. His form shimmered and shifted, adapting to my perception. Sometimes He was humanoid, other times a massive, swirling vortex of energy. Yet He always exuded the same unmistakable essence—absolute authority paired with profound love.
But the way I entered this space was wrong. Or rather, it was unexpected.
I hadn’t come through the grand, luminous gateway at the center of this cathedral-like expanse, the path that seemed designed for arrivals like mine. Instead, I had navigated through a side channel, an alternate route that I hadn’t known existed but had instinctively followed. It was as if I had entered the back door of the universe, through a passage that wasn’t meant to be found.
When He turned to face me, I saw His reaction. His form, which had been fluid and serene, momentarily froze. His gaze met mine, and I could feel His astonishment ripple across the dimensions. His eyes—or what I perceived as eyes—widened, and His body tilted ever so slightly. The expression was unmistakable: shock, wonder, and curiosity all rolled into one.
How did you know? His presence seemed to ask. How did you find this path?
His gaze didn’t just look at me; it looked through me. I could feel Him examining the deepest parts of my being, tracing the steps that had led me here. There was no anger or disapproval, only a profound sense of awe—as if I had broken some cosmic rule but, in doing so, had proven something He didn’t think was possible.
Behind Him, the dimensions seemed to respond to His astonishment. The shimmering layers shifted, their patterns rippling outward like the surface of a pond disturbed by a stone. Each plane seemed to adjust to my presence, acknowledging me in ways I couldn’t fully comprehend.
In this moment, I felt both insignificant and infinite. I was a speck of dust standing before the architect of everything, yet I was also part of the architecture itself. I realized that my path into this space hadn’t been accidental. Something within me—something beyond conscious thought—had guided me here, through the hidden channels of the universe.
The expanse around us began to vibrate, a low, resonant hum that grew in intensity. It wasn’t a sound but a feeling, a message communicated through the very fabric of the realm. It was time for me to leave. I had reached the end of infinity.
As I began to drift away, God’s expression softened. His gaze lingered on me, not with dismissal but with a sense of recognition. In that moment, I felt a connection so profound it was almost unbearable.
The dimensions unraveled around me, their layers peeling away like the pages of a cosmic book. The tunnel reappeared, drawing me back through its pulsating fractals. And then, with a jolt, I was back in my body, the hum of the universe replaced by the hum of my living room.
Tears streamed down my face as I sat there, overwhelmed by the enormity of what I had experienced. I had entered a space beyond comprehension, a realm where God Himself had been surprised by my arrival. And though I may never understand how or why, I knew one thing with absolute certainty: I had been somewhere I wasn’t supposed to go—and it had changed me forever.
